Dinner for the children

This young man is Sochea our night time guard at Common Grounds Cafe. He is studying english, some evenings I sit and help him with it before it gets dark. He is very eager to learn. Age 17

As you can see all 14 children and one widow are enjoying their dinners.

Matt is over the orphanage and since Common Grounds is closed and everyone is gone except Me, Matt and Soo. Matt has been bringing those that are not far away home for dinner, so the three of us have been making them dinner like every other night and Matt lets them watch cartoons in his borrowed room. It is great doing for them and showing them God's love.

Prasat Srolayn Village

We were sitting in the house visiting and drinking coconut juice from the coconuts they had just cut for us.

He was quite the climber.

Cutting a cluter of coconuts for us to bring home.

These were taken in the village where some of the orphans and widows stayed during the Khmi New Year.
This is my friend Soo at church after service. He has been a lot of help to me here and very kind.

The Sounsa Village

This young woman was very sick, she has Aids which she got from her husband. She has two small children, one you can see in the background.

I pray that God will send more laborers here the need is great.
The people in this village are being taught about Jesus by some wonderful men and women of God that are missionaries here.

This was a great experience and also heartbreaking. I was so blessed to be able to go here and pray with those that were sick and we took a little girl named Chanz to the Children's Hospital because she had severe burns on her right hand and forearm. She accidently got burned by boiling water four days ago.

CPR Training for PCL Staff

This was fun and they enjoyed learning this life saving skill.

Anyu

I went to Takam Village today to check on Anyu and how his face is doing, he is still in the healing process from the surgery in Nov. He is looking well and the French doctor who did the surgery will be seeing him again in a couple of weeks. He is still taking antibiotics and another medication which I take to him every two weeks and check his face.

Takam Village

These are a few of the children in Anyu's family in the village.

This is Anyus sister who has not walked for over a year and they can't seem to tell us why. She is always sitting on this wooden table when we go to the village. This is Matt and Jothnathan his friend sitting on the table talking with her through the translation of Sen.

Devotion, Praise and Worship at the Lake

Kristen gave the devotion today.

These are wonderful people who hunger after the lord. These children are so sincere in their praise and whorship.

PCL Staff and Children's Home Day at the Baray Lake

This little on just wanted to rest.

Playing tag and run in the circle you see. Naroth is taking care of the grill in the forefront. That was some awesome grilled chicken.

We all had a great time swimming and grilling and playing games. This was our celebration together for Easter before everyone goes away for the Khmer New Year.
