Children's Home Gets A Fresh Look

This is Grace one of the Lee University Interns and one of the boys from the orphanage priming one of the wall at the children's home.
In this photo we were all getting ready to roll some primer. So this is my before picture.

In this picture it is days later and we are in one of the class rooms painting.

This is the almost finished room where the Youth have sunday services. What a difference paint and creativity makes. Great job Lee team and Thosten, Doreen and Matt, Ezra.

Teaching God's Word In Takam

Julie Martinez is PCL director in this reason of Cambodia. She is the one who started this church in the Takam Village and usually the one who teaches and preaches here.
These little ones were gathered in their own little group on the top of the stairs.

This little one was watching the other children.

This is Corey one of the Lee University Interns teaching God's word in the Takam Village. They also have a pastor whose name is Ike. Sen is interpreting for Corey in this picture. The Lord has done many wonderful things in this village just since last year.

Takam Village Integrated Farm Coming Soon

PCL has just purchased a large parcel of land and there is a team of people in the village that are working on the project. It is going to be an Integrated Farm consisting of two fish ponds, pigs, and fruit trees. This will help the village greatly.
Julie and Sen are discussing what needs to be done soon before the rain season really gets going.

Anyu went into one of the ponds to let us know how deep it is from water coming up out of the ground. Anyu has been working on helping clear the land of trees and roots. He will have a house on this property as well for he and his wife and the coming first child.

One pond will have talapia and the other will have catfish in it.

Clean Water For Kompong Kdai Village

We had ten people at a time come and we gave them each a filter, one per family.
Julie Martinez in the forefront and Lee University Interns next to her.

In this photo Julie and Sen are teaching the people how to use and care for their filters.

The people are being instructed on the order in which the filters will be given out. We gave out 220 waters filters.

Sounsa Village

In these photos my new friend and partner Doreen are doing the first clinic in the Sounsa Village. It was very rewarding. There was a team of other missionaries with us that have been working and ministering to these people for a while. Those that we could not help I sent to the team that was in the background to pray for them. God is so good! When you look at these photos, all of you that have and are supporting me are also touching the lives of these people and showing them the love of Christ.

PCL Children Learning About Jesus.

In these pictures the children were being taught about Moses and the parting of the sea. The boys with the boards in their hands were Pharoh's soldiers coming after the Israelites and the boys that appear to be pushing on their heads are playing the part of the water pouring over the soldiers once the Israelites crossed over on that dry land. The paper cut outs they are working on are the same story. The Lee Interns are doing a nice job with them.

PCL Children's Home

This is some of the children during VBS with the interns from Lee and some other missionaries. Then we have Ezra and his wife with their two day old son Johnathan, who weighed in at just over 5lbs. Ezra and his wife live at the orphanage and do a lot with the children as far as teaching them about Jesus. They have a church service there every Sunday.

Market Somaki Village

We spent the evening with at least 100 children, just playing games with them, loving them and giving them food. This is a PCL outreach program that is done on a monthly basis, set up by Julie Martinez PCL director. It was so much fun and the kids loved it. There were 5 Lee College Interns, A couple from Germany, Chris from Colorado, Jeff from California, plus PCL Cambodian staff. The little girl in my arm was so tiny and she pretty much hung out with me the whole evening.
